The Chureito Pagoda is a recently built pagoda in the hills of Fujiyoshida City across from Mount Fuji attracts photographers around the year, but particularly so in mid April during the cherry blossom season when the pagoda seems to float in a sea of cherry blossoms. Light conditions are best in the early morning.

The "maple corridor" at the north shore of the lake by the old Nashikawa river is the most beloved autumn scene in Kawaguchiko. The "momiji fall festival" takes place next to the corridor. It is also close to muesums, cafes, restaurants and tensui onsen.

The Ooishi tree tunnel is a beautiful area all year round, especially for drivers. In the fall season, the maple trees for a brilliant colorful tunnel which is a favorite amongst photographers.
