The renovation of Tokyo Station spawned this massive concentration of shops, restaurants, offices and exhibition spaces, spreading from the original station building to several new skyscrapers
that are directly connected to the station through passageways.

Marunouchi STATION BUILDING Area - 丸の内駅ビルエリア

Born in 1988 with the desire to “provide people with not just a transit point, but a place of fragrant culture”. In the preserved and restored Marunouchi station building, enjoy a wide variety of genres of exhibition in the red-brick exhibition room with its historical atmosphere.

Ekinaka Area (inside the station) - 駅なかエリア
As befits a station at the very heart of Japan, the Ekinaka area performs a vast array of functions that make it truly worthy of its “Station City” name, with information centers, foreign currency exchange, and a luggage-check service, as well as restaurants and stores that offer a variety of box lunches, delicacies, and confectionaries.

The giant 230m long roof that links the North Tower and the South Tower, which was designed to resemble a “Sail of Light”, and the pedestrian deck, which forms a lively space for pedestrians to gather, are new landmarks for the Yaesu exit and symbolize “innovation” and “advancement”. The commercial facility, comprised of 14 shops, from floors B1 to 3, has “Yaesu Sensational Scene” as its concept, and creates a “place for meetings and gatherings”, where you can experience a new way of passing time.
